The Casa Padronale, the main house of the Fattoria Nittardi has been kept as far as possible in its original form. During restoration great care was taken to preserve the original structures; the front yard with fountain, the wine and oil cellars - still very much in use - and the stone baking oven, are as they all existed hundreds of years ago. Casanuova, completely restored with all modern conveniences, is a 15th century farmhouse which has a cosy, and very individual atmosphere.
The swimming pool, situated between cypresses and flowers at the main house, is a delightful place to relax and refresh oneself, and can be used by guests from both houses.
The bowling green in the garden, illuminated in the evening, is a favourite meeting place. Footpaths through the vineyards and woods are widely accessible. Tennis courts are also close by, and well looked after golf courses are easy to reach.
